Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightening Night Cream Review

When it comes to skincare brands Cetaphil is the one I trust the most. The reason behind it is that their products have never failed me.

While I was dealing with severe acne my dermatologist prescribed me many Cetaphil products to calm down my skin. Needless to say they worked very well as my skin was really sensitive at that time due to all the strong topical treatments that were going on.

In today's post I am sharing my views on Cetaphil Brightening Night Comfort Cream. When I saw this cream launch in India I immediately ordered it to test it for myself.

Coming to the product details-

Texture and consistency-

The cream is super lightweight which glides on like a dream on the surface. It gives a smooth and dewy finish to the skin. The cream gets absorbed within a few minutes giving a luminous appearance to the skin

Apply a generous amount of cream on a perfectly cleansed face and neck during night time. Massage until the cream is absorbed into the skin.

My experience with the product-

The reason I was so excited to try out this product was the presence of niacinamide

It's an amazing skin friendly ingredient that works almost on all skin types. Niacinamide helps in reducing pigmentation and dark spots giving a clear complexion to the skin.

It also helps in controlling sebum production, preventing fine lines and wrinkles, reduces sun spots and helps reduce damage to the skin caused by environmental stress.

I use this cream every night after cleansing my face. This cream absorbs really well into the skin giving a beautiful glow to the face.

The smooth finish is due to the presence of dimethicone in the product. Vinyl dimethicone is a silicone powder which provides a silky smooth and powdery finish to the skin.

Along with niacinamide, the cream also contains glycerine and different forms of hyaluronic acid which works as great humectants.

Humectants help in plumping the skin by retaining the moisture into the skin. Whenever your skin feels dull and dehydrated adding a good humectant rich moisturiser is the easiest way to make it look plumper and well hydrated immediately.

Whenever I apply this product at night my skin looks super fresh and nourished throughout the  day.

The presence of white sea daffodil extract (Pancratium Maritimum Extract) provides skin brightening effects to the skin that works really well with niacinamide in order to reduce hyperpigmentation on the skin.

This cream can be combined with all the actives used in the skincare routine.

Minimalist Salicylic acid + LHA 2% Face Cleanser review

Salicylic acid and Capryloyl salicylic acid (LHA) have been gaining popularity in the skincare industry for quite some time now. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) which has keratolytic properties that helps in unclogging pores making it suitable for acne prone skin types. LHA on the other hand is a derivative of salicylic acid which has an added fatty chain to make it more lipophilic and gentle for exfoliation. In today's post I am sharing my experience with the newly launched M inimalist Salicylic Acid and LHA 2% face cleanser . If you have read my previous posts you must know that most of the minimalist products worked really well for me except for the PHA toner so I was pretty excited to use its face cleanser as well. The face wash is sulphate free and contains both BHA and LHA for gentle exfoliation of dead skin cell layers. Clogged pores can lead to the formation of non-inflammatory (blackheads, whiteheads) and inflammatory acne. Hence adding such chemical exfoliat

Minimalist Rosehip Oil + VC IP-3% Review

When it comes to facial oil Rosehip oil has gained popularity for many years. A good quality cold-pressed rosehip oil has been used in improving the elasticity of the skin, strengthening the skin barrier, reducing fine lines and wrinkles as well as healing the skin. Rosehip oil contains various essential fatty acids and unsaturated acids such as linoleic acid, linolenic acid and oleic acid. These help in strengthening the lipid barrier of the skin making it stronger and firmer. It is also rich in components like vitamin C and vitamin A which makes it a potent antioxidant for reducing free radical damage on the skin and reducing hyperpigmentation. Minimalist Multi Peptide Serum Review

Peptides are made up of two or more amino acids which are the building block of proteins.  Collagen is naturally present in our body which is made up of polypeptides. As we grow older the collagen starts depleting which can result in presenting the signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles. Adding a topical peptide serum or moisturiser in your daily skincare routine can delay these signs while promoting a healthy and youthful skin. Whenever you want to incorporate any topical peptide product in your skincare routine always invest in a good leave on product rather than wash off products. The reason behind it is that leave on products are there in contact with the skin for a longer period of time helping to show results more effectively. In today's post I am sharing my views on the Multi Peptide Serum by Minimalist . Minimalist is an Indian skincare and hair care brand that has come up with affordable serums and moisturisers with a good percentage of actives in them
