Rovectin Clean LHA Blemish Ampoule Review

If you have a blemished skin and want to use salicylic acid but it doesn't work well for you, Rovectin has come up with their LHA blemish ampoule. LHA or lipohydroxy acid is a derivative of salicylic acid and it is mild enough to be used by sensitive skin too.

In today’s post I am reviewing the LHA blemish ampoule from ROVECTIN.

Rovectin is a Korean brand which is gaining popularity because of their selection of ingredients which are clean and mild for everyday use.

LHA has a higher molecular weight than salicylic acid and has an added fatty chain which makes it more lipophilic and unique in treating blemished skin. It helps in unclogging pores, controls sebum production and gentle exfoliation of the dead skin cell layer.

My experience with the product :

This was my first time trying an LHA ampoule as it is not that popular in India. I’ve used salicylic acid serums in the past but they didn't work well on my skin as a serum. So I continue using them as a spot treatment. When this LHA ampoule launched in India I decided to give this gentle version a try. I normally use this ampoule on days when I am breaking out or my skin is feeling excessive oily. The ampoule is easy to use. It gives an immediate matte effect without over drying the skin. I use it only once during the day whenever I feel some bumps on my skin. The ampoule effectively exfoliates the dead skin cell layers, gives a fresh cleaner complexion and helps in clearing out acne.

The ampoule contains 85% neroli water extract as the first ingredient which helps in soothing and calming irritated skin. It contains glutathione which is an antioxidant that helps in preventing free radical damage on the skin and reduces blemishes to a certain extent. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid and panthenol provide hydration, moisturisation and calming effects on the skin. Niacinamide helps in brightening up the complexion and gives an even toned skin.
