Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review

Human skin naturally contains ceramides but as we grow older they are lost over time. Including a topical ceramide cream helps in strengthening the protective barrier of the skin, prevents transepidermal loss of water, locks moisture, provides hydration to the skin and prevents fine lines and wrinkles.

Today I am going to review “Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream”.

Cosrx balancium comfort ceramide cream has Ceramide N-Oleoyl-Phytosphingosine (ceramide NP- aka CERAMIDE 3) 10000 ppm as its key ingredient.

This cream claims to be a lightweight moisturiser that contains 10000 ppm of ceramide NP and centella asiatica leaf water which suits perfectly to soothe dry irritated skin and provides a protective barrier against environmental stress.

Caution- stop usage if irritation occurs.

My experience with the product-

I really love to use ceramide creams in my skincare routine as the last step. I use the Cerave PM moisturising lotion almost everyday as it contains three types of ceramides. Since I started using chemical exfoliation in the form of exfoliating toners (AHA,BHA,PHA) in my skincare 2-3 times a week I was looking for a much thicker cream to heal the skin overnight so that my skin does not feel stretchy or flaky the other day. I’ve been using the Cosrx Ceramide Cream for quite a while now and it does help in achieving me the soft smoother texture the next day. The cream comes in an opaque tube and a little bit goes a long way. The cream is thick in consistency, has a balmy texture and glides smoothly on the skin. It does give a greasy and quite heavy feel on the skin as well. It also takes a long time to get completely absorbed on the skin. I usually don't like such a heavy feel on my face but I only apply this one at night and the next day results are really amazing. My skin feels soft and supple throughout the day so I don't mind leaving it overnight two - three times a week. I use this cream on dry areas of my body as well such as elbows and knees which helps in making them soft and supple.
